Who are the medical providers at Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Care?

We have an integrated care team of experienced primary care and specialty care providers serving our members at the Hudson Yards location of Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Care. Meet the providers here. Additionally, our Health Navigators coordinate referrals across the top providers within the Mount Sinai Health System and beyond.

How many locations do you have?

Skadden-sponsored Essential Members have access to our flagship practice located at 55 Hudson Yards in Manhattan, New York City. As an affiliate of Mount Sinai—one of the largest health systems in the country—Health Navigators can connect you with specialty care providers at Mount Sinai’s hospitals and ambulatory sites across Long Island and the 5 boroughs. Additionally, we partner with local health systems in neighboring states like New Jersey and Connecticut to extend our clinical reach.

What is your relationship to the Mount Sinai Health System?

Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Care is powered by the Mount Sinai Health System. Our providers and Health Navigators have the ability to seamlessly coordinate with and schedule directly with other Mount Sinai physicians and practices. Your medical records will integrate with other providers who utilize the same Epic electronic health record system.

Can I schedule and communicate online?

Yes, you can schedule both in-person and virtual primary care and most specialty care appointments through the Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Care online member portal. To schedule an in-person or virtual behavioral health or nutrition counseling visit, you can utilize the portal’s chat functionality to schedule an appointment with a Health Navigator. Alternatively, you can reach out to a Health Navigator by phone at 646.819.5100 for assistance with scheduling, as well as for inquiries regarding billing, benefits, medical records, prescriptions, and more.

Can I access my medical record online?

Yes. Your medical information and administrative needs are accessible through the Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Care member portal, which is available through MyChart. For added convenience in managing your care, you will have access to your medical records and the ability to schedule visits at the Hudson Yards practice, as well as other Mount Sinai locations.

 

Primary and Specialty Care

What primary care and urgent care services are offered?

Our clinical care team will be able to provide most standard primary and urgent care services. Some examples of these services include:

  • Annual well visits
  • Ongoing treatment of chronic conditions (such as allergies & asthma, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, and stress)
  • Allergic reactions
  • Back or joint pain
  • Colds or flu
  • COVID-19 screening
  • Cuts or scrapes
  • Headaches or migraines
  • Rashes or skin conditions
  • Sprains
  • Sinus infections
  • Travel medicine
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Vaccines such as flu, Hepatitis A&B, MMR, and HPV

Which imaging and laboratory services are offered on-site?

We can complete specimen collection (e.g., blood draws) for routine labs and COVID-19 testing on-site. We also have an X-ray machine for basic imaging needs. If you need an MRI or other advanced imaging service, our Health Navigators will help you with a referral to another location convenient to you.

What specialty care services are available?

We offer a broad range of specialty care on-site, including physical therapy, behavioral health, dermatology, gynecology, cardiology, acupuncture, and nutrition counseling, as well as services such as labs, x-ray, flu shots, and COVID-19 testing.

What is a Health Navigator?

Health Navigators assist you and your family with accessing and understanding health care services. Navigators can help you schedule an appointment at the Hudson Yards location of Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Care and elsewhere in the community, prepare for visits, coordinate your after-visit care, and answer questions about your health insurance plan. The service acts as an extension of our on-site team to serve you when your care needs extend beyond our practice walls. Our provider and Health Navigator teams partner to ensure a seamless experience for you and your family.  

The Health Navigator service is available via chat through the member portal or via phone at 646-819-5100. This service is included with your membership and available for you and your spouse/dependents at no additional cost.

Do you provide virtual care visits?

Virtual visits are available to manage existing or chronic issues, address immediate care needs, or be screened for COVID-19. In these situations, virtual visits are conducted by the same primary care and specialty care team that serves you in-person at The Health Center. Virtual visits are connected to your electronic health record and conducted through a secure connection.

Please note that regulations differ by state and we may not be able to provide virtual care to members across all states. Please contact us for more details.

Do you offer COVID-19 testing?

Yes, we have COVID-19 antibody and diagnostic testing available for asymptomatic members.

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have previously experienced symptoms, or are curious about antibody testing in general, we can set up a virtual visit to discuss your options and what testing, if any, makes sense for you. Contact our Health Navigators to get started.

Do you offer travel vaccines?

Yes, travel vaccines are offered at The Health Center. Please contact our Health Navigators with any questions about scheduling and availability.

Do you have a prescription delivery service?

Yes, Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Care partners with pharmaceutical delivery solutions to ensure that your prescriptions are delivered quickly to your home or office. Pharmacy preference is at the discretion of the patient. If prescription delivery is not preferred, our care team can send prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice.

Are walk-in appointments available?

There is time allocated in the schedule to allow providers to accept walk-in appointments; however, we highly encourage you to book an appointment ahead of time for optimal efficiency.

What if I have an emergency?

If you are experiencing an emergency, you should call 911 and/or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

What happens if I need care after hours?

Our practice is open seven days a week with extended primary and immediate care hours in the morning and evening to make scheduling appointments easier. After business hours, we have an answering service that can help triage clinical questions via phone

 

Billing and Insurance

Do you accept my insurance?

All providers and services at Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Care are in-network with the UnitedHealthcare POS and EPO Medical Plans.

In addition, we work with most large insurance carriers to bill our services. If you want to confirm whether we accept your insurance, please reach out directly to hysupport@mountsinai.org or call 646.819.5100 to discuss further.

Will I have to pay anything the day of my visit?

Depending on your health insurance plan, you may owe a fixed dollar amount, or copay, the day of your visit. Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Care accepts payment via credit/debit card. We do not accept cash, check, or money orders.

For non-copay services or high deductible health plans, you will receive a bill for services at a later date.

I received a bill for services rendered at The Health Center. How do I pay it?

You can conveniently pay your bill online through the member portal, accessible via the ‘Billing’ section in the navigation menu, or opt for payment via phone or mail using the instructions provided on the bill.

 

Membership

What are the membership options?

Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Care offers two types of memberships:

    • Employer-Sponsored Essential Membership: Skadden has sponsored your Essential Membership as a benefit for employees. Membership includes access to all Essential services at the Hudson Yards location of Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Care and access to our Health Navigators who can support members with scheduling, billing, and referrals. 
    • Premier Experience: Includes access to all services to both the Hudson Yards and Upper East Side practices of Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Care, as well as 24/7 care, a personal physician and health concierge, cutting-edge annual physical, in-home care, and more. If you are interested in our Premier membership, please contact us directly at conciergemembership@mountsinai.org.

How do I activate my membership?

You can activate your Skadden-sponsored Essential membership through our website or through our app on the Apple or Google Play store. Select “Sign up” and register using your work email. You will choose the “Employer-Sponsored Essential Membership” option. Once registration is complete, you can schedule an appointment and start your care.

Can my spouse or dependent use my Essential Membership?

For employer-sponsored Essential members, your spouse or dependent is not eligible to use Mount Sinai Doctors-Concierge Care without an individual membership. You may elect to purchase an individual membership for your spouse or dependent (if over age 18). Spouses and dependents of our members are eligible to call the Health Navigator service at 646-819-5100, at no additional cost to you, for benefit questions and referral needs.
