“My approach to dermatology looks beyond any one skin concern to the whole patient in front of me. By blending medical and cosmetic expertise with personalized care, I hope to help every patient feel confident in their skin and genuinely excited about their skin health.”
Dr. Celina Feldman specializes in general and cosmetic dermatology, treating a variety of conditions including acne, eczema, hair loss, aging concerns, and skin cancer prevention. She has a research background in inflammatory skin diseases, such as eczema, alopecia areata, frontal fibrosing alopecia, and endocrine therapy-associated alopecia. She has dozens of publications in high-impact journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Allergy. Dr. Feldman is currently an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and serves as the Associate Program Director for the department’s residency program.
Dr. Feldman has a particular interest in women's dermatologic health across the female life cycle, including skin changes associated with puberty, pregnancy, and menopause, the impact of female hormone fluctuations and abnormalities on skin and hair health, and vulvar dermatology. In this realm, she works collaboratively with other specialists across disciplines including endocrinology, obstetrics and gynecology, and primary care.
Dr. Feldman completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology, Global Health and Health Policy at Harvard College, where she graduated magna cum laude. She completed her medical school training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, graduating with a distinction in research. While in medical school, Dr. Feldman completed a research fellowship year in the Laboratory of Inflammatory Skin Diseases led by Dr. Emma Guttman. She then went on to complete her dermatology residency at Mount Sinai, where she served as chief resident.
Outside of work, Dr. Feldman enjoys spending time outdoors in nature—hiking, running, biking, and playing tennis—and she is an avid foodie who loves to cook and try new restaurants.
