Dominika Wittek, MD
Pediatrician
“I love watching kids grow and develop over the years, and becoming part of their family's story. Earning a parent's trust is the greatest honor of my work.”
Dr. Dominika Wittek is a board-certified pediatrician with over two decades of experience providing exceptional, personalized care to children and families.
Dr. Wittek earned her medical degree from Philipps University in Marburg, Germany. She discovered her love for New York City as a medical student during a clinical rotation in orthopedic surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center and decided to return to New York City for residency training at Metropolitan Hospital and Westchester Medical Center. There, Dr. Wittek was honored as Outstanding Intern and Outstanding Senior Resident, and later served as Chief Resident, taking on clinical, administrative, and teaching responsibilities.
Dr. Wittek’s clinical background spans the full continuum of pediatric care, from intensive care medicine in a Level III NICU to emergency medicine as an attending physician at a Level II trauma center, where she also trained residents and medical students. For the past 20 years, Dr. Wittek has focused on primary care, working first in Germany and, for over 15 years, in private practice in Tribeca.
Dr. Wittek's philosophy centers on a thoughtful, low intervention and family-centered approach. Building close, trusting relationships with the families she cares for is central to Dr. Wittek's practice, allowing her to guide each family according to their unique needs.
In her free time, Dr. Wittek enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, and being outdoors. She hikes, rides horses, and enjoys sailing and scuba diving.
